Traditional Japanese comfort food in an unconventional setting.

Our History

We opened our doors in 2002 to serve delicious comfort food to the senior residents of Robert Nimi Nikkei Home and New Sakura-so, as well as to the public. We hope our restaurant guests feel the same level of hospitality as we strive to provide to our residents.

Visiting Us

We are located in Burnaby, at the corner of Kingsway and Sperling. There is free underground and street parking.

Covid-19 Update

We are currently open for takeout only (dining room closed) and delivery on Skip the Dishes. See our hours below and you can place an order online or by phone. See Pickup Info for more details on how/where to pick up.

Reservations (Not Currently Available)

Please note that we only accept reservations for parties of 6 and over and reservations are not accepted on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. To make a reservation, please call and leave a message and someone will give you a call back.

Please note: we are open to the public during minimized hours so we can service the residents. We ask that you respect the space, keep noise to a minimum and help keep areas clean. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
